Historical sexual offence charge
George Pell has been committed to stand trial before a jury on at least two historical sexual assault charge.
According to theage.com.au:
Magistrate Belinda Wallington has discharged Cardinal Pell of some other alleged offences.

The decision was handed down in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The most serious allegations aimed at the Cardinal seem to have been thrown out.
Magistrate Belinda Wallington is part way through her ruling on whether there is enough evidence to send Cardinal Pell to trial on multiple historic sexual offence charges.
Cardinal Pell had long denied the allegations.
