Another Major Delay For Passengers On The V/Line North East Line
Passengers on the V/Line North East Line were left in the lurch on the weekend. The train left Southern Cross Station in Melbourne, bound for Albury but didn't make it past Broadmeadows.
Passengers were reportedly left on the broken down train for four hours with no refreshments or food, despite promises that the fault would be fixed. Buses were eventually brought in to complete the journey.
It appears as a complete locomotive failure. Rare, but 4 hours recovery is a bit much especially so close to Melbourne.— Ross Jackson (@TheRossJackson) May 26, 2019
