Police Hold Grave Concerns
Detectives from the Riverina Police District are continuing their investigations into the disappearance of a woman in the state’s Riverina region last week.
The disappearance of Ruth Ridley was reported to officers on Wednesday 30 October 2019, by a family member who held grave concerns for her welfare.
She is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175 cm tall with a thin build, fair complexion and blonde hair.
Police believe Mrs Ridley, aged 58, travelled from her home in Port Macquarie to Tumbarumba on Friday 18 October 2019, in a dark blue Mitsubishi Pajero.
The Pajero has since been found on Shelley Road, Shelley in Victoria, on Tuesday 29 October 2019, with the body of a 61-year-old man – who is known to the missing woman – inside.
The caravan was also located in Tumbarumba on Wednesday 30 October 2019.
