Lamborghini cost two drivers their licence on the Hume Freeway
The new Lamborghini Huracan costs almost $500,000 to buy and it has a top speed of more than 300 kilometres an hour.
At the weekend, the region's highway patrol officers had a couple of chances to have a really good look at it.
Twice the car was caught by officers well and truly breaking the speed limit.
Police clocked the car at between 177km/h and 185km/h between Holbrook and Albury, and the driver had his licence suspended on the spot, and issued with a fine.
The car was then clocked a short time later at 140km/h at Tumblong, with a different driver behind the wheel.
