I Apologise If People In Albury Think It's A Bit Harsh
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian today rejected calls for the border checkpoint to be moved either north of Albury or south of Wodonga.
The Premier spoke with Kylie and Kev this morning.
"A very strong message to us, and I apologise if people in Albury think it's a bit harsh, but we're recommending anyone living in the border communities not to travel to the rest of NSW""
"If you did the border north of Albury, that would impact Wagga and other places, if you did it south it would obviously impact Victorians. We think the most sensible thing to do is to continue with what we've done".
