Fatal Crash

A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the states south-west yesterday.

About 6.30pm last night, emergency services attended the Cobb Highway, approximately 12km south of Boorigal, after reports a car had rolled in a crash.

Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District, along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, State Emergency Services, and the Rural Fire Service, attended.

Police believe the Mitsubishi Triton veered off the road, before rolling several times.

The driver, a 56-year-old man, died at the scene. His passenger, an 11-month-old child, was freed from the vehicle before being taken to Griffith Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with information about the crash, or has dashcam vision, is urged to called Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
