Corowa man behind bars after being arrested driving a tractor on a Corowa street
A Corowa man has been remanded in police custody after being arrested driving a tractor through a Corowa St on Saturday.
Police were called to Malbec Court about 9pm after reports of the man driving a grey International tractor through the street.
He was found hiding behind a fence, before becoming aggressive with police who used capsicum spray to subdue him.
He was charged with possess prohibited drug, possess implements to the enter/drive a vehicle, drive whilst disqualified, assault, resist and intimidate police and breach of apprehended violence order.
The man fronted Albury court yesterday where he was asked to show cause as to why he should be given bail.
The magistrate refused bail and he wil return to court at a later date.
