Police concerned after home-made spikes found on Tallangatta track
Three vehicles have been damaged after spikes were deliberately placed on a road south of Tallangatta.
The drivers have started fronting police since Saturday morning, leading police to find the 5cm spikes on a 10cm by 10cm base.
Police believe the spikes were home-made and deliberately placed on Callaghan Creek Road, between Tallangatta South and Mitta.
Officers are concerned that the spikes could not only damage cars but injure walkers, horses or other animals on the track.
